JULIAN & AIMER
While growing up, these boys were enjoying babyhood. Looking back, it only seemed like yesterday when they would blabber words. Now, they are as articulate and persuasive as any kid their age - best part is, they do that in fluent English.
Next part is to learn how to do so in Chinese, for 21st century purposes.

The Future of Education - School in the Cloud
This is the man behind Slumdog Millionaire. Self Organized Learning Environments, that's his wish. a lot of promise there especially to a world where majority are poor. It appears as supra class but has a lot of sense. If V.I.L. is to be remembered, I think he said something like revolutionary theory precedes all revolutionary movements. genuine change may as well be hastened by access to progressive ideas. take the case of the reform movement during the spanish colonization, ideas of the the french rev were what inspired bonifacio and the ilustrados.

Homo sapiens, homo faber: man as thinker, man as maker
It's really a great way to put it - learning as moving away from spoon feeding to play. Connects right into Werbach's gamification theories.
There is another read about learning as being Thinkers (visible) and doers (reflective): http://www.google.com/reader/view/#stream/user%2F11983355272208248882%2Fstate%2Fcom.google%2Fstarred
